PS3 to Get the Gold Box Treatment (Again)

Starting at Midnight (Pacific Time) tonight, Amazon will fire up its Gold Box yet again in an exclusive all PS3 blowout sale.

What do you have to do to get these deals? Simply wait out the clock, and keep an eye on Amazon after midnight. The deals only last until the selected stock is depleted, so stay vigil deal-hunters!

Final Fantasy XIII may be coming to both the PS3 and Xbox 360, but only the PSP will be getting it's ful-length spinn-off, Agito. Our friends across the ocean scanned some magazine pages with in-game screen shots, so the Bros. cut and cropped 'em for your exclusive viewing pleasure. The pics show of some impressive in-game models and even the battle system. Enjoy!

New KIllzone 2 HD Trailer! Draws Parrallel With Iraq War?

"Enemy morale at all time low..."

Is it just me, or does the trailer's narrator sound like he is describing the lead up to the Invasion of Iraq?

"In and out within a month they said...no match for our military might" grumbles the disillusioned voice-over in this new trailer for Sony's upcoming FPS sequel to PS2's Killzone .

The first game was optimistically dubbed the "Halo Killer" but turned out to be more of a Halo redux. It seems Killzone 2 better up the ante when it drops, and by the looks of this trailer, Sony agrees.




I loved the PSP spin-off Killzone: Liberation, so lets hope the Killzone franchise continues its evolutionary ascension.

Wanted: Grand Theft Auto IV Trophies

A downloadable patch for Grand Theft Auto IV will be hitting the PSN on October 27th. The patch will allow gamers to earn various trophies for presumably nefarious deeds. Like the Uncharted patch, I assume all trophy requirements must be earned post-patch. That means even if you've reached all requirements, you still have to re-achieve them after the patch is installed.

No More Heroes Sequel Confirmed! But Is This Beam Katana Portable?

Suda 51 is resurecting Wii's otaku bad boy Travis Touchdown for another romp through the ranks of Santa Destroy's seedy underbelly. Dubbed "No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle," one is reminded of previous "DS" anacronyms (i.e. Dual Srtike, Deadly Secret, ect.) opening up the dangerous oppurtunity to take your beam katana on the bus. Personally, I'd prefer a full blown Wii sequel, but with Nintendo recently announcing the DSi, it's update to the hugely succesful DS, NMH2: DS could be a move to help launch the downloadable game service launching with the DSi in 2009. Either way, the main point is we'll be revisiting Santa Destroy.
Grasshopper Manufacture and Marvelous Entertainment gave us El Topo on the Wii the first time around, maybe this time we'll get Holy Mountain to go. Wait that would suck.
