Gamer Herald - October 2009

The Infernal City, an upcoming novel set in the Elder Scrolls universe, is set to be released in the US on November 24th, and thanks to a blurb about the book, we now know that an Elder Scrolls V is likely in the works.

According to the description for the book seen on the publishers website, The Infernal City is meant to take place "forty-five years after the Oblivion Crisis, which is the story of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion game and the expansion pack Shivering Isles." It then goes on to state that the book "bridges the gap for the next game, which is set 200 years after the Oblivion crisis."

Seeing that the previous installment was such a huge commercial and critical success, this new bit of information seems to reveal what most of us assumed was going to happen anyway.
