Black Friday Results - Nintendo

Good Afternoon Gamers,
Well I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I know we did. Its been awhile since we posted but now we are back. We are getting ready the holiday season and Black Friday was the day that kicked it off. If you have not experienced Black Friday I really would suggest to do so. It such a great feeling, people waiting in line and all the video games at discounted prices. It was really fun.
Well Black Friday is a day for all of us electronics fans. Video games were being sold by the buckets. Nintendo has released its report of sales for Black Friday. The results are looking good for Nintendo. During the week of Nov. 21st till Nov. 27th Nintendo saw an increase in sales of both the DS and the Wii hardware systems.
First the Nintendo DS systems sold an astonishing 900,000 units in the specified week. Thats alot of DS units for one week in The US alone, not worldwide. Then the Nintendo Wii sold 600,000 units in the US, not worldwide. According to Nintendo of America, US consumers bought an average of 9,000 Wii units continuously every hour for the Black Friday week.
So it looks like Nintendo has had a great start to holiday season, lets see what both Microsoft and Sony have to report. Stay tuned for the latest.
