Good Afternoon Gamers,
Well we have arrived, today was the day that Call of Duty: Black OPS was released. Many Gamestops around the country had midnight launches of the game. So I wonder how many people went online at the same time last night?
Well there is an estimated number of 1 million Xbox Live Users who were online at about 1 am Pacific Time. That is just one hour after the launch, wow thats alot of gamers. That was just Xbox Live, there were no reports about Playstation 3 or the Wii. According to GameSpot, Josh Olin Treyarch's Community Manager tweeted the stat.
The game actually went platinum in the first few hours of its release. I wonder how many sick days were used today. Black OPS is actually one of my christmas wishlist games. If this many people are on online the game must be really good. I can not wait to get my copy
