AFTER receiving a fanfare of Buzz Quiz TV material for the Playstation 3 and PSP yesterday, I was itching with quizzical excitement to fire it up and lock horns in the Sofa vs Sofa online mode.
Unfortunately I was left with more questions than answers when the error-riddled online network refused to 'start games'.
Matchmaking was fine, I started a room and had three other online buzzers ready to go within 30 seconds, but when the game tried to 'launch the game', an connection error occurred.
Gamer Herald has contacted Sony to gauge whether or not this is a widespread issue and will have more details as they come to hand.
I'll try again to get my 'Buzz face on' tonight, hopefully the issue has been resolved.
Aside from the online nasties, the Buzz studio is beautifully rendered and the process of category - question - animation flows seamlessly. It is a pleasure to play.
The questions seem plentiful, and the categories spot on. Music and movie questions add something extra, so does the array of buzzer choices, which include whips, birds, whistles and horns.
Full review will be up as soon as the online mode is playable.

Shame really as Buzz! is always a lot of fun in a group, might have to stick to local group play instead.
