OVER 2 million people have played Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA 4) on Xbox Live since the game's launch last week.
Microsoft released its Xbox Live figures this week in a bid to show that its Xbox 360 console is still the platform of choice for gamers.
In other Xbox 360 stats for GTA 4, Microsoft says:
- That the average gamer spent more than four hours playing GTA 4 in the first week.
- That more than 12 million achievements were unlocked between GTA 4 players.
- And that gamers achieved 111,000,000 gamerscore points on GTA 4.
Shaun says:
Well, it's not surprising that more people played GTA 4 on Xbox Live than on the PlayStation Network given the problems I experienced playing GTA 4 on the PS3 in multiplayer.
If the game wasn't freezing, it was leading to further problems that I wrote about here.
It may come to you as no surprise then that I will be buying GTA 4 for the 360 to ensure I don't experience a repeat bricking of my PS3 when trying to play online multiplayer.
