Good Afternoon Gamers,
So good news for all you PS3 owners including myself, Netflix and Sony have announced that coming next week we will have an update that will allow us to use Netflix without a disc. This is really good news because I use Netflix constantly and it was kind of a pain to have to load a disc just to watch movies.
There will be a app in the XMB under the video category. All you have to do is log on with your Playstation Network Account and it will load up. They have created a new interface for users to browse through the movies easier and find new content that we may missed over in the old version.
The application will support 5.1 Dolby Digital sound and HD versions of more movies because we are entering the age of HD. More people have an HDTV and now Netflix will appeal to those consumers as well. So the question now is what do we do with the Netflix discs?
