Wii Sports sequel and WiiSpeak voice chat announced at E3

New WiiMotionPlus controller, voice chat, Wii Music and new Animal Crossing also announced
NINTENDO has blitzed the E3 conference in the United States - big time!
Here's what Gamer Herald knows so far:
WiiMotionPlus
A new attachment for the Wii remote, it adds more precise control that can reflect motions in 3D on a 1:1 scale.
Allows for more comprehensive tracking of a player's arm position and orientation, providing players with an unmatched level of precision and immersion.
Wii Sports Resort
The long awaited sequel to Wii Sports is coming - Wii Sports Resort. Wii Sports Resort will come packaged with the WiiMotion Plus accessory to provide incredibly realistic motion experience in new games including Sword Play, Power Cruising and Disc Dog.
Animal Crossing: City Folk and WiiSpeak voice chat
Animal Crossing makes its way to Wii with Animal Crossing: City Folk. Connect with other players in new ways using WiiConnect 24, or chat with other players on the new WiiSpeak microphone as you move into a fun community populated by quirky animals.
Wii Music
Also available on Wii will be Wii Music.
Jam to tunes even if you don't know anything about music! With more than 60 different instruments you can strum, shake, tap and drum along in a musical playground where there are no mistakes.
Come up with creative arrangements which you can send to your friends via WiiConnect24.
Shaun says:
I really can see the WiiMotionPlus attachment taking off. From what I know, it's the next step in the evolution of the Wii Remote, giving it the ability to be precise in 3D space rather than a virtual salt and pepper shaker.
And the next most pleasing announcement is the WiiSpeak microphone. Although I'm convinced that voice chat on the 360 is a waste of time, a lot of people love it, and have probably wished they could chat with others on the Wii during a game of Mario Kart Wii, Mario Strikers, Battalion Wars, or other WiFi games.
Wii Music looks like it could be a sleeper hit. Sure, it's not a competitive game like Guitar Hero, but that's it point of definition. It's a game in which you can create tunes with real instrument sounds, having to play them.
The WiiMotionPlus attachment will give your Wiimote super powers. Well, at the very least, it'll be more precise.

sometimes it seems nintendo is too scared to move away from cartoony, mii-laden titles and do something serious with the motion sensing.
