In the wee hours of Tuesday morning, the Playstation 3 team launched a covert, streamlined assault on our online senses.
Make any sense?
The PS store has been relaunched, with an improved interface for much easier navigation.
When the Playstation 3 first launched, nothing seemed too wrong with the original store. It was simple, usable and worked.
But as more and more content was added, and Sony ventured into music clips, themes and wallpapers, the organisation of the store unravelled like Opes Prime.
The official Sony press release said the new store was launched due to user demand.
"The revamped store comes in response to a survey last year which showed that many Playstation Store users wanted a better interface and easier navigation."
"The new design will deliver a hugely improved navigation system, much greater scope for categorisation and a dynamic new user interface."
The left hand menus look sharp, clean and blend well with the featured graphical content adjacent.
But we'll leave you to make up your own mind.
To accompany the relaunch, the Playstation Store will have a horde of new content added on April 17 (Thursday).
The Metal Gear Online Premier Beta headlines the list of new stuff.
Also available will be expansion packs for Warhawk: Operation Broken Mirror, and Lair: Diabolical Dragons Pack and Skyguard Upgrade pack, offering new features and functions.
There will also be a collection of trailers including the latest from GTA IV, as well as a Sega Superstars tennis demo.
