Good Morning Gamers,

With the release of Call of Duty: Black OPS, I started to think What is the best War video game ever made? There are many but in your mind what is the best? I think the best war video game has to be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The game actually took first person shooters to a different level.

Before Modern Warfare, Call of Duty was based on just World War II events. Every release was about World War II and after awhile how many games can you make about WWII. So when the next generation Video Game consoles started to come out it was time for a change. Call of Duty wanted to explore a different war concept thus Modern Warfare was born.


In Modern Warfare, you follow the story of two soliders through modern events and try to figure out who set off an nuclear bomb that actually kills of the soldiers that you are playing. It was a great story line and the ending has to be the best in any war video game.
