WWF Wrestlemania - NES Video Game
October 7th 2010 03:06
Good Evening Gamers,
So tonight here at the Gamer Herald we are feeling a little nostalgic. Who remembers WWF Wrestlemania for the NES. The game was developed by the company Rareware. It only featured six wrestlers Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, Macho Man Randy Savage, Bam Bam Bigelow, and the Honky Tonk Man.
It game was based on the first Wrestlemania and this was the first major wrestling brand game. There was pro wrestling but this one had the big names on it. There were only a few basic moves you can use in the game, punching, headbutts, kicks, and bodyslams. Only a few have special moves such as turnbuckle moves and forearm smashes.
There are only three modes in the game Single Player Exhibition, Two player Exhibition, and a championship tournament. The tournament you have to wrestle all five characters to win the championship. I would always get beat at the very end but I would sometime win as well. This game was the first I ever played so I can never forget it.
It shows its age everytime but it truly is a classic, please leave your comments below on this game.
