Good Morning Gamers,
So as a kid I remember me and my buddies would go to the arcade just play X-Men The Arcade Game. The six player fighter was some of the reason why I got into gaming, the game was so good and difficult it took so much of my money but I loved it. Its been so many years since I have played it, but the game has returned to Xbox Live and Playstation Network.
With all the technology we have now as far as downloading our favorite arcade games to our home console this is the one that I have always wanted. Activision carried the license for the Marvel characters and it prevented Konami from releasing it. Many fans including myself asked for this game and now Activision and Konami reached a deal and the game will be released.
The game will be just like the original with all six characters Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Storm, Dazzler and Colossus. They will have all their moves and all the great one liners will be in the game. Most of the sound and voicing had to be re-recorded to fit the modern age. All six players are playable on and offline. Players online can mix and match in the game, and join in at anytime.
Now included in this downloadable version Konami has put in the japan version of this game which is no different but the lettering is in japanese and enemies will drop health power-ups and strength power-ups. Well im very excited to get this game its a classic that I must have to relive so many memories. "Nothing moves the Blob"! I love that line.
